We love applique!  And we love making applique quilts, but we are not very good at sketching and drawing, and even though the quilts we wanted to design looked great in our heads, they didn't always look so good on paper or in fabric.  What to do?  We began to see that many complicated applique patterns were simply a series of basic shapes put together in a pleasing way.  Well, we can trace basic shapes, and we can even combine those shapes to make pretty much anything we want.  Tada!  Shapeplay was born.
